It was July 4th and the year was 2013. I had the pleasure of filming Rebecca and Ami’s wedding alongside the very talented Lilian Haidar at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City.
I remember sitting with Becky and Ami and Ami telling me how much he loved time-lapse videos. We went time lapse crazy that day and created 3 amazing lapses for them!! We were able to create a time-lapse video from Columbus Circle (not an easy task) as well as the room setup and of, course, a shot of the circle from the ballroom window as the day turned to night. Ami made a great decision in purchasing a permit so that we could film them at Lincoln Center. The day was spectacular and the love was definitely in the air. The ceremony was gorgeous and was followed by a crazy night of partying and even some sparklers inside the ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
Lilian Haidar and I even captured some great photos and video of Becky and Ami with fireworks exploding behind them over the Hudson River. Three years later Becky and Ami have a beautiful daughter named Olivia. I am happy to call Becky and Ami my friends and am so happy they chose me to film their most important day.😀
