Melissa & Aaron’s Wedding Trailer at Guastavino’s in Manhattan

The beauty of Love is that there are no boundaries with it. Distance cannot stop the strength and endurance of this powerful emotion. How can two people born on opposite sides of the country, or planet for that matter come together and create a life long dream? Some say there are forces at work, fate maybe? No one really knows, but Love Conquers All!!

The Meet:
Melissa and Aaron were set up via two of their best friends who had got married in August of 2015. They were set up when Aaron moved to New York from Seattle in 2008. They dated for about one month and then things just fizzled out. They moved on with their lives and fate brought them together two and a half years later. This time was the right time and they have not looked back since. Now almost six years later they are getting married!

The Proposal:
Melissa’s birthday is on February 6th and she was planning a large 30th birthday party. What she did not know was that the birthday party was also going to be their engagement party.

Aaron explains….On February 5th, I booked Melissa a massage day at a spa inside the Gansevoort hotel in meat packing because it was close to her office. She got a massage and a manicure, then when she was done, I had the folks at the spa hand her a note. The note had a hotel room key in it with a note telling her to come up to the room I had reserved. The room was decorated with pictures of us and all of her favorite snacks. When Melissa arrived, I was hiding in the bedroom and there was a video slideshow of us playing, once the slideshow was over I came out and proposed. I invited my family from Seattle and both families went out to dinner afterwards and then celebrated the next night.

The Wedding:
On a glorious Fall day in November Melissa and Aaron “Tied The Knot” in New York City. They were both dressed at the Lotte Palace Hotel on Madison Avenue. They decided to see each other prior to their ceremony and thought the courtyard of the Palace hotel was the perfect spot….they were right!! After a wonderful first look, the happy couple shuttled off to the New York Public Library for some great photos by Brian Dorsey Studios and cinematography by us. We had them taking shot sin the middle of traffic, by the library stairs and around the outside of the very busy library. They met up with the bridal party at the amazing Guastavinos for some wonderful moments. Once all of the photos were done they signed the ketubah and then were married upstairs under an amazing chuppah created by the amazingly talented Tantawan Bloom. After the ceremony was finished they went downstairs for the cocktail hour and then back up for the reception where they partied, partied and partied with the great sounds of Chevy Chevis Entertainmanet. The night was filled with fun and lots of laughter. Thanks to a second meeting love blossomed from Seattle to New York!
